My name is Carol Allen and I am a co-worker and friend of Tiffany's.
When I first approached Tiffany about creating a Go Fund Me page for her she was very hesitant, stating she would feel " silly and wouldn't know how (she could) repay people." After explaining to her that this would be a gift and taking time to think about it, Tiffany gave me permission to do this. I am asking for your help to raise $20,000 to assist with her out of pocket medical expenses for her six hospitalizations and the loss wages she has incurred. Since before her back surgery in July, Tiffany has been dealing with Foot Drop on her right side. Her surgeon had hoped he could relieve the pressure on the nerves causing this but it appears the nerve damage is permanent. At this point, Tiffany still has no feeling in her leg from her knee down and is wearing a custom fitted leg brace on her right side so she can walk. You would think that would be a great excuse to feel sorry for yourself and do nothing, but that is just not our Tiffany! She was in the gym on the treadmill as soon as she could ditch her walker! She tried to return to work, but debilitating headaches landed her back in the hospital for yet more testing. At first they blamed her headaches on a spinal leak but after further testing found a tumor that was pressing on her pituitary. She is scheduled to have the tumor removed this week and plans to return to work as soon as her doctor will allow. Tiffany has been through so much since February and has never complained or asked for anything. I am asking. Won't you please give whatever you can to help ease her financial burden? It will be so much appreciated!
