I will be running the Shipyard Maine Marathon on May 9th for the following cause:
Most soldiers in Israel finish their service in the army relatively unscarred.
Some pain and some emotional trauma, but they are able to move forward and live a normal life.
However many, pay a heavy price for defending Jewish right to self-determination.
"Brothers for Life" or "אחים לחיים," is an Israeli nonprofit spearheading the distributions of materials intended to support those soldiers in need of financial, medical, educational, or legal aid.
