Yoga Teacher Training for Rowan

Hi, I'm Ro! I am part of a Jesus Devotional Community in Northern Thailand, sharing life, faith and Christian practice with travellers, hippies and seekers from all over the world. I love this life of sharing precious spiritual conversations, practices and rhythms!
For many years on and off I have practiced yoga for physical exercise and mental calm, and in the last few years have discovered the beautiful connection of physical asana practice together with Christ-centred meditation and Bible reading. Jesus Devotional Yoga is such a beautiful practice, and has been special to my spiritual walk. Naomi, a dear friend and member of my community has been teaching Jesus Devotional Yoga after doing this same training about 18 months ago, and I have seen how it is such a beautiful way of meeting with Jesus alongside seekers in a gentle, non-threatening way, in a familiar setting.
The opportunity has come for me to take a Teacher Training course to be qualified with a 225 Hour certification, to be able to teach Jesus Devotional Yoga with seekers from all over the world! I would love the opportunity to grow in my personal spiritual practice as well as share this beautiful way of connecting to the Divine through physical practice and Bible-based, Christ-centred meditation.

The Costs:
The course I am taking is an online program of 9 weeks, plus a week-long intensive component in the USA. The course fees are a total of $4,650 (AUS) but I have already been offered a $500 (US) scholarship! Which brings the cost to $3,955 (AUS).
I have had a dear friend already offer to cover the cost of the airfares to the USA, which is a huge gift!
I see Jesus Devotional Yoga as another beautiful practice to add to what I am already doing in sharing with seekers and travellers who are searching for the One; and this Teacher Training as a great opportunity to have a focused time of spiritual development in my own life as well.

Two years ago, I was given the opportunity to train with Holy Yoga as a Christ Centered Yoga instructor. The training alone was a life changing experience for me as I delved deeper into the Gospel, vulnerability, community and worshiping God with my whole self. Since completing training, I have had the joy of leading our traveler friends into the presence of God through the practice of Yoga, centered on scripture, prayer and giving God space to speak into their hearts and bring healing and wholeness.
Through much prayer and contemplation, I am so excited that Ro feels the gentle nudge of Jesus to take the training. I'm so excited for what God is going to do in her heart through this time, as she rests in the scriptures and soaks up all that God has for her. I'm so excited to see the words of Truth go out as she begins to lead people in this practice centered on Christ and Christ alone. I truly believe Rowan was made for this.
