Scholarships for youth!

We are 3/4 towards our goal of $2,000!!! We have extended our donation deadline to 4/12/24. Your contributions will go a long way and are greatly appreciated!!!

On behalf of the Board for Formed Families Forward, I invite you to contribute to our 11th annual Spring Forward Family Fun Day to be held on April 13, 2024. Join us in offering "Activity Scholarships" for children and youth who are in foster care, kinship care, or in adoptive homes, who register for this event with their parents and caregivers.

We hope to raise $2000 with your help to award up to 30 scholarships!!!

On April 13th, families in Northern Virginia will gather at the GMU Science and Tech campus in Manassas for our 2024 Spring Forward Family Fun Day. While parents and caregivers are inside learning from experts and others who share their experiences, their kids (ages 4 and up) will have a blast doing inclusive outdoor team-building activities. Children ages 4-9 will participate in the Camp Sarraka program doing outdoor activities and creative art projects. Youth ages 10-18 will enjoy a guided outdoor challenge course at The EDGE including a tower climb! Skilled staff and volunteers make it possible for every child to participate fully in the 4 hours of fun and connection. Breakfast, lunch, supplies, and take-home goodies are all included fir the children who attend.

The cost of participation in outdoor programming averages $68 per child. Please donate, whatever amount you can, by April 3, 2024, to help us fund as many Activity Scholarships as possible to meet our goal! Fully funded, this Go Fund Me will allow Formed Families Forward to support over 30 scholarships to allow families to enroll their children and youth completely FREE!
