Tricia's Battle for Conquering Chronic Lyme

As many know, our mother, Tricia Cianfrocco, was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme Disease in 2017. What began as something presumably minor (joint pain) has progressively gotten worse with the challenge of multiple autoimmune diseases she tries so hard to fight each and every day. Lyme has taken over our mother’s life, going from amazing health to complete deterioration of her health with more and more illnesses added to the list as days continue. Just to name a few, every day she suffers from extreme joint pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis, brain fog, visual deterioration, difficulty walking, chronic fatigue, insomnia, thyroid complications, multiple vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and high blood pressure all stemming from chronic lyme disease.

She struggles every day battling this horrible disease and has gone through extensive testing and treatments leading to a line of financial burden. In the United States, the CDC and private insurance companies do not recognize chronic lyme disease as a coverable illness and act as though it simply does not exist. Lyme disease is also associated with costly experimental and expensive treatments. The unrecognition of this disease has forced our mother to fund all expenses out of pocket, making all further treatments seem unattainable with how expensive any sort of treatment costs. When lyme disease is untreated properly it leads to numerous autoimmune diseases, infections, neurological deterioration, and a significantly lower quality of life, all of which our mother encounters daily. She has tried and still continues to try anything and everything to have the health she once had, but nothing has worked long term.

She has been accepted as a candidate to the Lyme & Chronic Infectious Disease program at Sanoviv Medical Institute, which could ultimately change her life and our families completely. It is a shock and so amazing this has been presented to us, and we know there is a reason it has.

Anyone who knows our mother, knows she is the most caring, giving, humbled, and kind-hearted person around. She always gives and never asks for anything in return. She’s also a kindergarten teacher who does so much for her students and loves her job so much that we would not want to see her have to stop because of lyme disease. We want nothing more than to give our mother her health back and she deserves it for herself. With a long life ahead of her we won’t let lyme disease control her life more than it already has and the program she has been accepted to can completely change her life. 

We are seeking any and all help and we greatly appreciate any donations as this is not a cheap program. Any amount will help, we want her to have the opportunity to get back the health and vitality she once had. She has been through so much in her life and needs to do this one thing for herself for once.
