Heart Transplant Family Fund ❤️

My brother-in-law Anthony Kelly is currently in Melbourne hospital and has just undergone a full heart transplant yesterday August 23rd 2022.

Anthony is a born and bred Warrnambool boy, he proudly played football for his beloved football team Dennington Football Club. He was a top quality Greens Curator, always a bit of a prankster, but a loving family member.

Anthony number one love is his family, which includes his 3 daughters Rebecca, Emma and Bianca and his son Joel, and is supported and cared for by his loving wife Leanne. Anthony and Leanne have six beautiful grandchildren and one on the way.

Anthony was only young when he had a massive stroke and also suffered a massive heart attack where he had to have a triple bypass. Anthony has since had further heart attacks, stents inserted, a defib implanted into his chest and has been in heart failure and on the heart transplant list.

Yesterday after a 7hr marathon heart transplant operation Anthony has received the ultimate gift of life receiving a new heart.

The next step in this journey is the anti-rejection process and to get Anthony back to good health.

This will mean my sister will need to be with him and live and or travel back and forth to Melbourne (4hrs each way from thier home ) for certain periods of time to be close to expert hospital care.

This of course comes with costs more costs then what us as a family are going to be able to help with, that is why we are seeking help via this forum to raise funds for travel, accommodation and general health care requirements to ease the financial strain for them.

We are so very grateful for any help during this time we just want a better quality of life for Anthony and his family. We so want him to he able to enjoy and make the most of this second chance of life with his beautiful family and even get back to rolling those bowls down the green.
