Christophers Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

Christopher Crecelius was always known for his great sense of humor, smiling face, & for how kind he was to everyone around him. Christopher enjoyed hanging with family & friends, hunting, fishing, & much more. He was always smiling, he was always lifting everyone elses spirits. He used to be the kind of person who would dance when he was happy, laugh at any situation, & could always make anyone laugh! But, those days did not last his life time. When one day May 2010 Christopher was hit with extreme depression, in which was his first suicide attempt... & so began the journey to where we are today. Christopher fought long and hard for his mental health recovery. But as time progressed, he was unable to see just how loved & cherrished he was, He started isolating himself, losing friends, pushing everyone away, attempt after attempt. He saught treatment & was desperate to feel at peace again. The family had tried just as hard to help him, but unfortunately in Chris's case there was no helping him. On October 15th 2017 We got a call we had all prayed we wouldnt ever get... telling our mother that he loved her & he was sorry. He took her car & drove it into the woods at a dead end road in the town he grew up in. Christopers life ended the moment he hit the tree. There was no possible way to save his life due to extensive trauma to the head, & body. Because this tragedy was so sudden, we were not financially prepared. The cheapest services we could find were $3,000.00. This includes cremation, something small to put his remains in & a small 2 hour service at the funeral home for his loved ones to make their peace & say goodbye. We were able to put down $500.00 today & are struggling to find the money need for the rest of what we owe. We are looking to raise $2,500.00 to cover the rest of the expenses. The family has all decided that any additional money will not be taken for personal gain, but donated to 3 seperate causes in my brothers name. 1. PAWS cat shelter in Milo Maine 2. Autism Society of Maine & 3. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Please share & donate even if its just a dollar! Even if we only raise $100.00 it would be a tremendous help! Thanks so much to everyone who helps weather it be a share or a donation!

Sincerely, Amanda, & Lori Brown
