We are writing this on behalf of our Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Pat and Debbie met in the early 90's and were married in 1995 at St. Johns Church.

For the past number of years, Debbie has worked for St. Johns Church and School. She has worked long days, always with a smile on her face. She loves her job and working for Father Ray.

Her number one role has been mother and wife. She has raised three amazing children along side her best friend, Patrick. The pride you see when she speaks of her children is beautiful.

Many of you know the updates and story of Debbie, from Facebook. I will write a brief overview of what they have been dealing with. Debbie and Pat were told that Debbie's Sarcoma Cancer she had five years ago, had returned. This was in the fall of 2016. In January of 2017, Debbie underwent surgery in her jaw to have the cancer removed. She was very brave and went in with her head held high. A few weeks later we learned the surgery did not work. Debbie then underwent 7 weeks of radiation 5 days a week at Hopkins. She stayed strong and did the two-hour drive up and back Monday-Friday. When the radiation ended, she learned the cancer had spread to her spine, liver and lungs. She underwent Cyber Knife on her spine. She then did two rounds of chemo. The chemo made her weak and she has developed fevers. She has been in and out of the hospital since. The doctor's shared the news this week, that they would stop the chemo. It is not working. The cancer has grown larger in her liver and lungs. Debbie has remained strong and has tried to her best to fight this terrible and heartbreaking disease, all with having her husband and children by her side.

We created this site, to help raise awareness of Debbie's terrible diagnosis. Many have asked what you can do to help. We hope this site will guide you in the best way too help. Many of you reading this, have already helped in so many ways. The meals, the car rides, the prayers, the cleaning of their home, being with the kids, and just sending a text has been helpful. The time has come to ask for more help. Debbie can no longer work. The two-hour drive to Hopkins on a weekly or daily basis, the hotel rooms, the hospital bills, the home bills, and every day life are adding up. We continue to ask for prayers but anything you can donate is also helpful. Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts. Debbie is lucky to have so many wonderful friends.
