Seth Kicks Cancer's Ass

     For Seth and Courtney, 2016 was supposed to be their year.  A year of happiness and celebration as they prepare for their November wedding and the beginnings of starting a family together.  Just last month - only a few months into planning the wedding – Seth was diagnosed with testicular cancer.  It came abruptly and it hit hard.  A sudden pain in his abdomen sent him to an urgent care, and just days later it was discovered he had cancer.  While processing the news of cancer and treatment, they learned that to have a chance at starting a family, it would be necessary to seek fertility alternatives and storage options – an extremely expensive “elective” process not covered by insurance or even done in Las Vegas.  Determined to fight for the life they have planned together, Courtney and Seth are taking the hits as they come and moving forward with undeterred strength.  The love they have for each other is unwavering and inspiring, and we hope that with this fundraiser we can help support them through such a difficult time.

     Seth is currently undergoing 4 rounds of 5-day Chemotherapy treatments, and they are optimistic that by summer he will be cancer-free and ready to finish the year with the celebratory cheerfulness they had expected. 

     With everything he is going through, Seth remains one of the most positive, selfless people I have ever met.  I mean, just days after being diagnosed – and still in pain from the 2 tumors that were just discovered – he came over with tools wanting to fix up some things in our home…who does that?!  But the fact remains that cancer treatment is expensive.  Weddings are expensive.  These are two people that I believe deserve to have their year back, so my husband and I have decided to start this fundraiser in an attempt to help them with the medical bills so that they can still have the wedding of their dreams when this is all over. 

     Let’s support Seth and Courtney by letting them focus on hearing those wedding bells and not worrying about how to pay for medical bills.
