By the grace of God

I have always been a hard working dedicated father of 5 beautiful children providing for their needs has always been my number 1 goal in life. While in my first week of training at the correctional officers training academy (COTA) in Tucson AZ I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital do to extreme abdominal pain I was diagnosed with Microperforation Diverticulitis the doctors originally thought they could flush my system with antibiotics but later that evening my lower intestine ruptured and was rushed into surgery. To make a long story short I went septic and am extremely lucky to be alive. Upon waking from my surgery I learned I now have temporary colostomy bag that will be reversed in 6 to 12 week which means another surgery and more healing time before I am able to get back to work providing for my family again and won't be able to work again for the next 6 to 9 months.
