Help Sara Rebuild Her Home

Our dear friend Sara needs our help! She's currently living at a hotel with her son and dog, dealing with an unhelpful landlord, and unsure of her family's future. After moving back to New Orleans for a fresh start, she suffered an unexpected catastrophe. In her own words:

On 01/31 a car drove through my living room while I was inside. Luckily no one was hurt. My son who is 15, myself, and our dog have been staying at a hotel for a month without any answers as to replacing lost items. I’m unable to attain a lawyer due to lawyers fees. We are already struggling in a pandemic and now this.

We are hoping to raise the costs to reimburse Sara for lost income, destroyed property, and the cost of living at a hotel, as well as any possible lawyer fees and clean up.

The sooner we get Sara the financial support she desperately needs, the better! Let's help her get on her feet and start fresh so she can make a new life for herself and her family!
