Hi, friends!
Thank you all for your continued prayers, financial support, and encouragement over the last three months as I've been volunteering with Firm Foundations Romania (FFR). I am so encouraged by the valuable difference FFR is making in Brasov, Romania and am honored and humbled to be part of it!
November 29, 2018 marks the start of a year long term volunteering with Firm Foundations Romania again! For the following year, I'll be serving with them to spread the love and hope of Jesus Christ by:
- Loving and cuddling the abandoned infants and toddlers in the children's hospital
- Visiting the orphan children at the center for children with disabilities
- Helping lead worship at the local church
- Fundraising/Raising awareness for FFR with Sarah Vienna (FFR's President)
Since this is a volunteer position, the costs over the following year are covered exclusively through my own savings and the generous gifts from friends and family who are partnering alongside me.
The estimated expense for the following year is $10,000. That cost includes a flight, rent, food, insurance, transportation, and a local (Romanian) cell plan. The Lord has been so faithful and already provided $8,000. Only $2,000 more to be fully funded!
