Andrew' s Battle to Win

Tragedy has struck our Middletown school family. For those of you who know her, Elizabeth Deaver is a fiercely loyal and loving mom of three wonderful boys, Joshua, and Andrew Stevens, and her oldest, Daniel, who just graduated from MHS. Liz volunteered many hours at Chorley School between her paid jobs, before obtaining a position as an aide at Presidential Park School. She has just learned that her son Andrew has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma and is presently in the hospital at Westchester. Liz is going to need all of our help to make sure her bills and day to day expenses are taken care of so that she can be where she needs to be, by Andrew's side, as he begins his battle. Even if you do not know Liz or her boys, we all know someone that has been touched by this insidious disease. When cancer strikes a young child it is that much more devastating.
