Yes, I will walk again

Dear Family & Friends,

Please don't be sad when you read my story. I will try to remember as much as possible as to what happened.

On December 2, 2016, I went into the hospital to have  brain surgery for removal of two tomors.  The tumor is called Von Hippel Lindau (VHL).  I was suppose to stay in the hospital for several days and go home.  I didn't go home as planned.  I was awake and alert when my doctor told me that he didn't get out all of the tumors.  Then on December 5, I went back into surgery and have the other tumor removed.
Well, things didn't go well.  I never woke up mentally.  But I was there physically.  My soul left my body.  All there was left was an empty host.  The host body can do what was command but not fully undersatand.  I can sense that I didn't have a body cause I was in a different plain.  It was like I was ready to move on.  The comfort setting was the hospital surrounding.  I was floating in the hospital searching for my body.  I did see people searching for something. But I remember the number 4042. I was in the ICU room 4042.
Around January 18, 2017, I woke up.  A lot has happened while I was out.  I got a VP (ventriculoperitoneal) shunt in my head. Some how water devlope on the brain  (hydrocephalus).  A tube feed on my stomach,  could not swallow on my right side, and saddly I CAN'T WALK.
I had Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy while I was in the hospital.  I did't leave the hospital until February 23, 2017.   I was hospitalized for almost three months.  When I was out of the hospital,  I had rehab without walls for five months. They were Speech Therapy, OT, and PT that came to my home.  I was sick and vomiting at night.  I don't know why.
In August '17,  my upper and lower back felt like they were on fire.  From the MRI, there were tumors in my spinal cord.  The doctor removed 80% of the tumors.  My back has not healed properly.  I felt pain constantly.  Some days the the back pain was a 7 out of 10.  It has never gone down below a 5.
It has been a year since all of this has happed to me.  I now have PT twice a week at the hospital.  My neighbor wheel's me there and back.  I live close to a mile to the hospital.  I don't get a lot of support.
Family & Freinds since I have been hospitalized and trying to recover from surgeries, I am asking for donations to help me pay for medical bills.  No one should go through what I am going through.

ALL I KNOW IS THAT I WILL WALK AGAIN SOMEDAY.
