Housing for Grandchildren

I'm the grandfather, the old guy in the photo.

I have 10 grandchildren and 1 great-child. 4 of my grandkids and my great-grandson, Malakai, live in Phoenix. (Full disclosure: my wife and I are "adopted" grandparents because our daughter, Nicole's,  biological parents choose to not be involved in her life)

Nicole and her four daughters moved there to start a new chapter in there life and to provide relief for several of her health problems including Lupus. 

One problem is that the job that was promised to her didn't work out. She currently works three part-time jobs but without child support (dad bailed years ago) she is struggling to make ends meet. 

We would like to help get the family into an apartment as soon as possible because the place they are living now will be unavailable within the week. Once they are in the apartment she will be able to take care of the monthly payments. 

We estimate that move in expenses will be $2000. Once settled, we have plans for the monthly rent since one of her daughters has a job which will supplement her salary.
