WCCS Year 8 Fundraising: Eyehope & Mary's Meals

As a year group we are raising money for two charities, Eyehope and Mary's Meals, by completing an exercise challenge. We are going to press-up our way to the summit of Mont Blanc (15, 780 ft) and travel the length of the UK, from Land's End to John O'Groats.

Between 15th June – 3rd July, each Year 8 boy will complete 544 press-ups and 30 miles. 

Mary’s Meals provides chronically hungry children in hundreds of schools with one meal every school day; they feed more than one million children daily.Eyehope is a charity which links the eye departments of St Thomas’ Hospital and Muhimbili National Hospital, Dar-es-Salaam. The link enables teaching exchanges for junior and more experienced doctors, and the provision of essential equipment.
