Support Santa Monica and Culver City Music Centers

Santa Monica Music Center and Culver City Music Center are family-owned and operated music stores and music studios that have been providing the music community, schools, and local families with quality band and orchestra instrument sales, rentals, repair, private and group lessons and studio rentals since 1972. This community-minded business supports local public and private schools with donations of lessons and instruments for their auctions and fundraisers.

After giving back to the community for years, Santa Monica/Culver City Music Center needs our community's help NOW! With the COVID 19 crisis, we have lost 70% of our income due to cancellations of instrument rentals and lessons.  We are working hard to get online music lessons going, but it's slow progress given the climate and the stress families are under. 

In order to keep our business operating and our staff supported, we need your generous donations to help pay for:
- Crisis pay for our 47 music teachers who are out of work due to COVID-19. Many of these teachers work in the entertainment industry, and all other income means have ended during this crisis. These teachers are now struggling to support themselves and their families, so our desire is to continue to support them financially during this time. 
- Salaries for our 12 furloughed employees who can't work due to the required business closure
- Extra paid sick time for our employees cannot work due to illness
- Monthly rent and utilities for our 2 store/studio spaces
