Harris Family

On July 12, 2019, Nathan A. Harris, 19 and Jason M. Harris, 16, tragically and unexpectedly had their lives cut short. Their mother also passed away. 

Nathan graduated from York Community High School in 2018 where he was an Illinois State Scholar and National Merit Commended student. He was about to start his sophomore year at Bradley University studying Computer Sciences. Nathan had a wide and diverse circle of friends who described him as incredibly intelligent, skilled, stubborn, funny, and caring. He cared about everyone. Nathan loved debating and sharing his thoughts. He would always voice his opinions proudly. Nathan lived as if nothing stood in his way. He always seemed like he knew what he wanted to do and where he wanted to go in life. 

Jason was heading into his junior year at York High School. They were like the glue that held everyone together. No matter what, they were always able to make light of a dark situation and get everyone to laugh. In their own special way, they cared for everyone they loved. They were supportive and understanding. They were always passionate about what they loved, big or small. They were protective, supportive and everything in between.
