Chasing a dream

Hi everyone, my name is Sarah!

I am a local Alberta business owner, blog writer, soon to be author, mom and grandma. I have been working on a children's book dear to my heart that is almost ready to publish. I have a passion for writing and would love for my book to be in homes across Canada. Unfortunately publication costs are very expensive, with that being said I am asking for your help to make my dream happen. I know that times are tough for everyone at the moment but I really need your help!! If you can donate anything you can to make this dream come true I would be over the moon grateful. The name of the book is Adventures with Gammie and it is the story of me becoming a grandma for the first time and the adventures she and I will have. My goal is to publish it by the end of February. I am looking to raise $5000 to help pay for printing, editing and marketing provided by the self publishing firm Friesen Press Canada. To clarify a little Friesen Press offers services to help me get my book edited, published and marketed to the right people. Going this way however requires the money to be paid up front to maximize my returns whereas a "big box publisher" would bleed me dry in fees.
