Help raise funds for COVID-19 relief for India

Want to join us in making a difference? We are a group of students from AVS Academy raising awareness and funds for COVID-19 triage and isolation centers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and any donation will help make an impact. AVS Academy is partnering with Empower & Excel organization leveraging their NPO network and ground level volunteers. Every day, more than 300,000 new cases of COVID-19 are reported in India. Hospitals are constantly being flooded with more patients than they can handle. The number of available hospital beds is dwindling with each passing moment, and many patients cannot even begin to receive the care they need without them. 

Each donation you make will go towards funding 50-100-bed capacity triage and isolation centers across several cities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Each triage center runs round the clock and will assess the severity of the infection, health condition of the COVID infected persons and help them in treatment, hospital admission and others. The center also has a medical oxygen supply and persons with mild symptoms will be treated. Infected persons will also be counselled at the help desk.

All donations are welcome. Every one of your contributions is tax-deductible and will go 100% to the cause. We also have a buy-in from the district local authorities to staff each bed that you fund with a licensed healthcare professional. A mere $65 funds a hospital bed complete with a mattress, bedsheet, and pillow and helps save a life! Your generosity will go a long way towards saving lives.
