Surgery for Lucy’s Knees

I wasn’t sure about starting a gofundme for my girl Lucy, because the world is a dumpster fire right now, and everyone has their own shit going on, but this is a pricey surgery that I’m just not able to take on myself. If you don’t know her story lemme get you caught up; she started limping a couple months ago and with her being as active as she is I thought maybe she just went a little too hard playing fetch so I restricted her activity and let her rest, when the limp wasn’t going away I took her to a vet who said her knee joint didn’t feel loose so she didn’t seem too worried about the injury, she gave us some anti-inflammatory meds and sent us on our way advising me to limit her activity even more. After a month of those anti-inflammatory meds and the limp still not giving up I took her to another vet for a second opinion, that’s when I found out she had torn all the ligaments in her knee and the only way to correct it would be through surgery *edit* come to surgery day in December 2020, they draw her blood and take X-rays and give me a call to let me know, it's not just one leg, it's now both legs that she's torn the ligaments in. Since I couldn't do both legs at the same time I took her home and we've just been limiting activity to short walks and no more big adventures. It's been a rough ride, but I just don't have the money to pay for both legs to be done. I just want my adventure buddy and running partner back in the game with me. Lucy as everyone knows by now is my sidekick, so I know I’m going to get her surgery I just need a little help getting the funds together for her. We're taking it day by day and keeping this gofundme open to see if it gains traction, but as of now, thank you for the refills on anti-inflammatory meds that really help her.
