ንህንጻ ገዳም ቅድስት ድምያና

በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ አሐዱ አምላክ አሜን።

"ንኣኻትኩም ዚቕበል ንኣይ እዩ ዚቕበል፡ እቲ ንኣይ ዚቕበል ድማ ነቲ ዝለኣኸኒ እዩ ዚቕበሎ። ንነብዪ ብስም ነብዪ ዚቕበል፡ ዓስቢ ነብዪ ይረክብ፡ ንጻድቕ ብስም ጻድቕ ዚቕበል ድማ ዓስቢ ጻድቕ ይረክብ። ካብዞም ናእሽቱ ንሓደ እኳ ብስም ወደ መዝሙር ጣሳ ዝሑል ማይ ጥራይ ዜስቲ፡ ዓስቡ ከቶ ኸም ዘይስእን፡ ብሓቂ እብለኩም አሎኹ።" [ማቴ ፲፥፵፡፬፪] (10፡40)::

ገዳም ደብረ ደናግል ሰማእት ቅድስት ድምያና ካብተን ኣብ ሃገርና ኤርትራ ዝርከባ ገዳማት ኣብ ቀረባ ጊዜ ዝተመስረተት ኮይና፡ ኣዴታት በቲ ዘለወን ውሑድ ዓቕሚ ሰብን ቦታን፡ ንቤተክርስቲያን ዝጠቅም ኣገልግሎት ክህባ ምጽነሐን ኩላትና ንፈልጦ ሓቂ እዩ። ሕጂ ድማ ፍቓድ እግዚአብሔር ኮይኑ፡ እቲ ዝተዋህበን ቦታ ንምስራሕ "ሀ" ኢለን ጀሚረን ኣለዋ።

ምህናጽ ገዳም ደብረ ደናግል ሰማእት ቅድስት ድምያና፤ ተስፋን ራእይን ዘለዎ ገዳም ኣዴታትና መነኮሳይያት፡ ንዘኽታማት፡ ንጽጉማት፡ ንኣረገውትን ንሕሙማትን ክኣልያ፡ ከምኡውን እቲ ብውሑድ ዓቕሚ ንቤተክርስቲያን ዘበርክተኦ ዝነበራ ኣገልግሎት ብስፍሕ ዝበለ ንምቕራብ፡ ክህነጽ ዝተወጠነ ገዳም እዩ። እምባኣር ኩላትና ነዚ በዓይነቱ ናይ መጀመርታ ፍሉይ ታሪኽ ዘለዎ ገዳም ንምህናጽን በረከት ናይ ቅድስት ድምያና ንምክፋልን ዓቕምና ዝፈቕዶ እጃምና ንግበር።

ሰላምን ጸጋን እግዚኣብሄር ምስኩላትና ይኹን።

በረከት ኣዴና ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ምስ ኩልና ይኹን።

ጸሎትን ረድኤትን ናይ ቅድስት ድምያና ኣይፈለየና።

FUNDRAISING TO BUILD ST. DAMIANA MONASTERY IN ERITREA

The monasteries have been the source of our Tewahdo identity from history, authentic Holy Tradition, and continuity of orthodox teaching places for new monks, nuns, priests, and deacons; above all they have been holy places where the holy fathers have been praying for our country, the world, and for our safety on a daily basis.

Eritrean Tewahdo monasteries have been one of the first of its kind, next to that of Copts, when, out of the African continent as a whole. They are the pillars for sound and correct teaching of the Tewahdo Orthodox Church. As a continuation of this rich history, the Convent of St. Demiana was opened in the year of 2016 in Eritrea. The goal of the St. Demiana convent is a continuous life filled with prayer. While praying for all of us, they also work 9 hours of the day to provide the following service to the Holy Church through:

Sewing clergy vestments [starting from deacon to Patriarch]

Sewing different types of Curtain for Church with different Iconography

Painting and carving wooden Crosses

Translating different spiritual books and giving different religious courses

In addition to the above tasks, consistent with the teaching of the Apostle Jude saying, “And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh [Jude 1:22-23]. St. Demiana serves by:

Taking care of orphans and the elderly

Tending to the ill through opening a clinic

Guiding young women to lead their family’s to a true Christian life

Many other serves

The above objectives and plans have been started partially. Even though St. Demiaina’s convent has begun, this is a holy objective we all should participate in, partaking in the abundant blessings of St. Demiana.

We are asking all to help build the Monastery for the above-blessed causes.

“ And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” [Matthew 10:42”].
