Guatemala Mission Trip

Hi! My name is Michelle Arcede. I am fundraising for a mission trip to Guatemala taking place this April 2022 where a group of physical therapy students from Dominican College, including myself, will be providing Pro Bono physical therapy care to those in need. For a week, we will be working with Hearts in Motion; an organization created to provide free services to a variety of populations (ie. orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, geriatric, etc). As many of you know, I am very passionate about my career as a physical therapist and being of service to others and what better way to combine the two than partaking on this trip! I am currently in my 3rd clinical rotation with Perfomex Physical Therapy and attending class every other weekend all while trying to keep up with every day life activities! I would really like to participate in this trip and need some financial help. I am fundraising for the total cost of the trip, $1,500 which includes airfare, hotel stay, meals, emergency medical insurance, and in-country transportation.
