Kazu's Special Scholarship

Hello everyone. My mother has decided to do something very unique to commemorate my brothers life by creating a scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a few people each year to be able to learn about Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, the Urasenke way. Some of the ideas we have now are to send those select few to Japan for a week and to learn more about the tea culture at the main school in Kyoto. Another option is to visit the various Urasenke branches located throughout North America and possibly abroad as well. The donations given will be put towards those special retreats along with plaques and awards given to those individuals each year. We believe this is a great way to pay tribute to my brothers life. We hope that we can have everyone's support so that we can have this program live on for many years to come. Thank you and gasho
