My sister, Miranda, is one of two students at her high school to be offered the opportunity to attend her choice of four educational leadership summits where she will join forces with top performing students from 140 countries at Yale, UCLA, John Hopkins, or Harvard University. During this week long educational adventure, students will be brought together to create, collaborate, and be inspired to reach beyond their perceived limits by completing group projects, motivational speaches, as well as
leadership siminars and activities.
The summit costs:
Enrollment: $2,995
Plane ticket: $400
She is applying for a $500 scholarship and attempting to raise some funds through a small entrepreneurial endeavor (utilizing her creative talents) to help make sure she reaches her goal. We will still need help though and that's why I am posting this for her. Funds must be collected by March 1, 2018. These are the beginning steps of her exploration into what may seem, at times, impossible with all the adversity she is facing and has already overcome.
As part of her eligibility for this invitation, she has straight A's and tutors upperclassmen in Math and Science. She is absolutely passionate about her education. If you know me, imagine all of my greatest personal assets and potential expanded exponentially to understand why she deserves this. Miranda and I will be beyond ecstatic and greatful for this opportunity to come to fruition and it will be thanks to your support!
