Let's help Ron

Atlanta’s own acoustic folk singer and musician Ron Kimble of the Ron Kimble Band has entertained us for years. Now, he needs our help.

In the late 1960's Ron graced small coffee shops around Atlanta with his dynamic vocals. He soon became a local music legend with, among others, Jimmy Buffet and Chris Kristofferson opening for him. By the 1970's, Ron was headlining the famous Hemingway’s Bar in Atlanta. He brought in large crowds to hear his increasingly-popular genre. Ron left Hemingway’s to open the Texas Tea Room. There, he hosted such names as David Alan Coe, Hank Williams, Jr., Hoyt Axton, Leon Redbone and more.

Ron has been singing locally lately; but, his health is now preventing him from doing what he loves most. His congestive heart failure and COPD have had him in the hospital for two of the last few weeks. Now home recuperating, he is unable to support himself and his family as he always has.
