Help Karen Kick Cancer's Butt

Karen has been fighting a second battle of stage four breast cancer for over a year and a half. This is the second time in 6 years she's had triple negative cancer. This disease has moved throughout her body, into her organs and bones. Until recently, she worked to help support her family. However, due to this being such an aggressive cancer, she is no longer able to work due to the strain on her body from not only the cancer, but from the treatments. Karen has worked her entire adult life to take care of her husband, two sons, daughter and spend time with her grandson.....at this point, it is a bit more than her body can handle for her to continue to work outside the home. She has continued to work, sometimes multiple shifts, throughout her treatments, to provide everything she possibly could. Over the past year, Karen has continued to deteriorate in health and experiences a daily struggle to complete even the simplest of tasks.

The donations from this account will assist Karen and her family to cover the extensive medical bills that are coming faster than the family can work the hours at their jobs. The Matthews family has worked so hard to fight through this illness and push through the vast financial struggle. They understand that it is a hard time for many Americans and that there are many families having a hard time. The outreach to the community comes only at a point where they have to reach out. Anything you are able to help with is greatly appreciated and will go to help in a time of need.
