Veteran fighting cancer

My name is Jacob Brown. I am 37 years old. Aside from some back issues from the military years ago, I consider myself a pretty healthy guy. I have a physically demanding job as an installer. We were working six day work weeks since August due to being so busy . I got the flu back in December 2017 and I just never really got better after that. I kept having shortness of breath, very fatigued and cold like symptoms. I assumed it was just the sickness hanging out longer than usual and maybe just being overworked but once I started to have blurred vision for about a week I knew it was something more. I went to see my Dr. and did routine bloodwork and exam. He called me from his personal phone later that evening to tell me to go to the hospital right away because all of my blood levels were critically low. Within 48 hours of checking myself into the hospital, and recieving 5 bags of blood,  I was informed that I have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. This came as a serious shock to my family and I. After hearing the word cancer everything just went blank, my life literally flashed before my eyes. My biggest fear was not being there for our son Logan who was only 8 months old at the time.    Before all of this happened I was working a great job with just enough to allow my wife to become a stay at mom for our son. I am the sole provider of our family. With this disease I cannot return to work until the Cancer is gone and my Dr. okays it. Due to the shortfall going from short term disability to long term disability, anything helps. I cannot do anything strenous. Because of this my wife is taking care of our son, taking care of me, and taking care of all the home cleaning, maintenance, etc. She even offered to get a night shift job to help out financially but if something were to happen to me while she is at work, I am not able to properly take care of myself or our son.  Any money donated on here will go towards medical expenses and household expenses.
