Maya Moose Needs Surgery

Hi friends! We're really sad to say: Maya has torn the cruciate ligament in her right rear leg and needs orthopedic surgery.
As most of you know, this year has been a real terror so far for Keone and I. Some of you might not know - I was laid off from my job in February, and still haven't found my way back into the workforce. With that said, this surgery is the last thing we needed and this is all quite overwhelming!
Maya Moo is the butter to our bread, and the surgery is a necessity, so she will be getting it done ASAP. It is called a TPLO procedure, and the costs include pre-op bloodwork (since she's considered a senior citizen these days and they need to make sure she's healthy for anesthesia), pre- and post-op X-rays to ensure the right metal plate is selected for her knee shape and that it heals well, and post-op pain management for her 6-10 week recovery.
