My name is Sne Belayneh. My father, Alemayehu Belayneh (a.k.a Gudu Kassa), died last Saturday due to sudden natural illness.
Because of my father’s deep love for his homeland, Ethiopia, he has been fighting for democracy and human rights in Ethiopia since he was a teenager. As a result, he was tortured and imprisoned for years during his teenage years. Later he found it difficult to live freely in Ethiopia, so he exiled to Europe and settled in Germany. During his exile in Europe, he was persistently fighting for the universal freedom of the Ethiopian people.
My father was a very loving, respectful, and selfless person. He was a man of great love and strong bond for his family. Particularly his love for me and my younger brother was indescribable. He has given us his love without limits. He has been doing all he can to make our life success and we are always indebted to our Father.
Given that what he did so far and thinking of his future intentions/plans, I do believe that the loss of our father is a great loss for us as well as for Ethiopia. Therefore, I would like to extend to our Father’s struggle partners all over the world to raise funds for an appropriate and well-deserved burial of our father.
We need the fund within the coming 10 days.
እኔ ሥሜ ሥነ በላይነህ እባላለሁ። አባቴ ዓለማየሁ በላይነህ (ጉዱ ካሣ) ባለፈው ቅዳሜ በድንገተኛ የተፈጥሮ ህመም ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ተለይቷል።
አባቴ ለአገሩ ባለው ጥብቅ ፍቅር የተነሳ ገና በለጋ ዕድሜው ጀምሮ በኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የዲሞክራሲ እና የስባዊ መብት እንዲከበር ሲታገል የነበረ ሲሆን፣ በዚህም በአስራዎች አጋማሽ ላይ በአገዛዙ ተይዞ ቶርች ሲደረግ እና ለዓመታት በእስር ሲንገላታ ቆይቷል። ከአስር ቤት ሲወጣም የነበረው በነፃነት የመኖር ዕድሉ የጠበበ መሆኑን ሲረዳ ወደ አውሮፓ በመሰደድ በጀርመን ኑሮውን አደረገ። በዚሁ የአውሮፓ ስደት ውቅትም ስለ አገሩ ያለማቅረጥ የሚጨነቅ እና የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ሁለንተናዊ ነፃነቱን እንዲያገኘ ሳያሰልስ ትግል ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል።
አባቴ ሰው አፍቃሪ፣ አክባሪ እና ለሁሉ ደራሽ የነበረ ሰው ሲሆን፣ ለቤተሰቡም ትልቅ ፍቅር እና የማይነቃነቅ ቁርኝት የነበረው ምሳሌያዊ አባወራ ነበር። በተለይ ለእኔ እና ለታናሽ ወንድሜ የነበረውን ፍቅር የሚገለጽበት ቋንቋ አላግኝለትም። ፍቅሩን ያለገደብ እና ስስት ሰጥቶናል። የህይወት ጉⶋችን የተቃና እና ውጤታማ እንዲሆን ያለመታከት ጥረት ሲያደርግ የነበረ እና የዛሬው ማንነታችን የዚሁ ጥረቱ ማሳያ ምልክት እንደሆነ እንረዳለን። በዚሁም የአባታችን የዘወትር ዕደኞች ነን።
አባታች እስከ አሁን ድረስ ያደረጋቸው እና ወደፊትም አደርገዋለሁ ብሎ የነበረውን ውጥን/ዕቅድ ሳስብ፤ የአባታችን ህልፈት ጉድለቱ ለእኛ በቻ ሳይሆን ለኢትዮጵያም ጭምር እንደሆነ አምናለሁ። ይህንን ለአገር ትልቅ ዋጋ የነበረውን አባታችንን የሚገባውን ክብር ያሟላ እና ተገቢነት ያለው የቀብር ሥርዓት ለመፈጸም ዕቅድ ይዘናል። በዚህም መሠረት፣ ይህንን ለማስፈጸም የሚያስችል ፈንድ/ፋይናንስ በዓለም ላይ ከሚገኙ የነፃነት ትግል አጋሮቹ ለማሰባሰብ ይህንን ጥያቄ በማክበር አቀርባለሁ።
ይህንንም ፈንድ/ፋይናንስ በሚቀጥሉት አስር (10) ቀናት ውስጥ ለማሰባሰብ አቅደናል።

ይህንንም ፈንድ/ፋይናንስ በሚቀጥሉት አስር (10) ቀናት ውስጥ ለማሰባሰብ አቅደናል።
