Please help Lexi

Sweet Lexi, who has been through so much, was neglected by her former owner until her left ear was swallowed up by a huge tumor. The ear had to be amputated. Her right ear had a bad hematoma which resulted in cropping. Despite all this, a family fell in love with her and she was adopted last week. However, her new family was very concerned when a bad odor and discharge was noted coming from the tiny opening in the amputated ear.  Lexi is now going to require serious additional surgery and if she does not get it soon, she is in danger of neurological problems and even death.  She will need to go to Purdue and until she is opened up, the extent of the damage and surgery needed to correct it is unknown. The cost could be as much as $5,000.00. We would like to help Lexi and help her to be able to stay in her new home, but we do not have this kind of money.  We desperately need your help, and time is of the essence! Please donate whatever you can, and thank you.
