Save Henry

I hate asking for help, but my sweet Henry is very sick -and I need help.  Last week he stopped eating or drinking and after bloodwork and ultrasounds it was revealed that he has hepatic lipidosis, which is where a cat's liver develops fatty deposits/starts to shut down because they stop eating. Here is where it gets complicated: his hepatic lipidosis is being caused by pancreatitis AND intestinal disease (which may or may not be lymphoma).

I have opted out of doing a biopsy to find out if it is lymphoma because the treatment is the same regardless.

They have put in a feeding tube and they want me to keep him in the hospital for a few days, which is way too much money for me to afford. When I do take him home I will need to continue feeding him/treating him with antibiotics and steroids through his feeding tube. I will also need to take him to the vet every few days to have his bloodwork/follow up ultrasounds done. This could go on indefinitely or it could eventually resolve itself.

There is no way to know if this will work, it depends on if we can stabalize his liver. But theoretically once we get him stable he could continue to live a happy (albeit complicated) life. 

So, I am fundraising to see if I can cover a) an extra day in the hospital and b) to help us through potentially months of follow up visits. I don't want to give up on this sweet baby who brings me and so many other people joy.  Anything that you can spare would go a long way in helping us through this dire situation.
