Hurricane Harvey Immigrant Relief!

Hurricane Harvey Immigrant Relief is asking for donations to fund an effort to assist the underserved immigrant population in South East Houston Texas.

Monetary donations can be made through the Hurricane Harvey Immigrant Relief. All donations of food, water, toiletries, and clothing can be dropped off at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at
809 Northwood St, Houston, TX 77009.

Emmanuel Baptist Church is located in the heart of Houston, in the neighborhood of “The Heights” and has a long history of grass-roots efforts partnering with the Houston Food Bank to deliver meals to it's surrounding community. With its gym, kitchen, and volunteer base, Emmanuel is well-equipped to continue meeting the needs of the neighborhood fighting to recover from the hurricane.

On August 30th 2017, the church will reopen its doors to serve what we already have in stock. We are awaiting the Houston Food Banks doors to open so we can pick up our food orders to assist at a larger scale. Our goal is to get hot meals served, food baskets, water, toiletries, and clothing distributed. We are asking your donations to fund these much-needed supplies. More volunteers are needed and donation drop-offs are much appreciated. If you are an organization interested in collaborating with these efforts, please contact us directly.

We ask that you distribute this message widely.
