Surgery for Mae

I rescued my dog Mae two years ago in May of 2018 (coincidence?). She is currently three years old and so full of life, love, and energy. On Christmas, she hurt her right back leg and has been limping on it ever since. I took her to the vet and found out that she tore her cranial cruciate ligament, which is like the dog equivalent of the ACL. She also has damage to her meniscus. Surgery is the only option for her or else she will be limping for the rest of her life- which I cannot imagine because she absolutely loves taking long walks in the wood and frolicking in fields. I live on the third floor of my apartment complex with no elevator, and it has been a struggle to get Mae up and down the stairs. I am asking that if anyone has a little extra money to spare, to donate it to the cost of Mae's surgery. The estimated cost of surgery is $3900-4100. I cant' stand to see my best friend in pain everyday and anything that you could give would help. I am a college student with student loans and paying for this surgery will take all the money I have saved. Let's get Mae back on the road to recovery so she can continue chasing squirrels and playing with her other doggie friends!!
