Help Stryker Strike Out Leukemia

After feeling a bit sluggish on the baseball field and having a few other concerning symptoms, Paul and Jodi took their son Stryker to the Emergency Room for a possible allergic reaction and to rule out Covid-19. The family was handed a shocking diagnosis. Stryker Sullivan was diagnosed with Leukemia on April 10th. Stryker spent a week in the ICU before being transferred to the Oncology floor for 4 -5 weeks of intensive treatment, where he currently remains. Upon successful discharge, Stryker will continue outpatient weekly treatments for an additional 9 months, followed by maintenance treatments for an additional 21 months.
The Sullivan family is facing challenging times ahead. Stryker is a triplet with two sisters, Rylee & Mckenzee. The Sullivan Family relies on two incomes to make ends meet and like all of us already on a tight budget, must now deal with this health crisis with Stryker. Due to the current Covid-19 outbreak and Stryker’s compromised immune system from his cancer treatments, the family cannot risk exposure to any sickness, especially at this time. Stryker’s Dad, Paul, is Personal Trainer whose work was abruptly stopped when his gym closed due to Covid-19 and even when it re-opens, will have limited work hours due to the time spent caring for Stryker while he is hospitalized and Stryker’s lengthy outpatient treatments. This loss of income, medical bills, insurance deductibles, and future out of pocket treatments needed to repair Stryker’s damaged immune system, will place a very large financial burden on the family.
Stryker loves God, life, baseball, his family and friends. He is a boy who looks you in the eyes, is polite and genuinely cares for others around him. Unfortunately, “God gives his toughest battles to his strongest warriors.” These are and will be very trying times for the Sullivan family, and any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. All donations will be used for medical expenses, lost wages, modifications to living arrangements and medical treatments not covered by insurance.
