Me and my family need your support.
My name is Maciek Dionisjew, I am 36 years old. I live with my wife and two our children 8 and 6 years old. I'm receiving chemotherapy. I have cancer called mantle cell lymphoma. Until recently, I didn't know that such a thing even exists.
Before the diagnosis, I worked, I run my own small transport business and on weekends I trained young footballers (u10). My wife was working, just getting another qualification and studying.
One day our life which we knew ended.
The disease is serious and there is no end to hospital visits, sometimes every week day or even twice a day. My salvation is chemotherapy, one of the most aggressive. It's called Nordic regime.
Why do I need help?
Since my illness, my company has ceased to functioning. The fuel crisis is one thing and the reaction of my main contractor is another. They has terminated all contracts with me with immediate effect, regardless of the fact that I am losing my source of income, and at the moment I have no chance for other.
My wife had to suspend her work and studies, her whole time is filled with looking after me and the children.
We don't have a family here.
Just in May, I buried my father who died of pancreatic cancer. Dad fought for a long time, yet he was dying in torment. Until recently, I was able to support my dad, now I need your support.
Before my illness, I was extremely active both professionally and on family field. Currently, cancer is so damaging to me that unloading the washing machine is a challenge for me. I am happy when I have the strength for a half an hour walk, after which I have to sleep off for few hours. I am very worried about the children, if we will have enough money to feed them and buy clothing, to pay bills that seems to be higher, especially the energy bill and fuel.
I have no choice. I must ask you for help for which I will be very grateful. Thank you. Maciek
