Hurricane Laura Relief

Matthew Ceasar and Loyd Trotter are two of the many affected from Hurricane Laura that destroyed SW Louisiana. Both of their homes have been damaged and remain without power which has forced Loyd to relocate and Matthew and his girlfriend Brooklyn to live by generator (without A/C). To add to his plight, Matthew also lost his car in the storm due to a tornado collapsing the part of the house where the car was parked. His vehicle, which is paid for, does not have full coverage on it so the replacement costs along with tree removal fees, furniture replacement, lodging, gas and all other living expense are all on him and Brooklyn. Both are without work for the foreseeable future as Lake Charles is not expected to have power for another 3-4 weeks. Loyd has a similar situation ahead of him as he prepares to move back to his home. Both he and his family suffered major loss of property and valuable belongings. These two gentleman represent the Lids at Prien Lake Mall in Lake Charles, La and have done a great job fulfilling every task put in front of them. I stand on my word that they represent the best in all of us and as their District Manager, I am willing to do all that I can to make sure that they get as much help as possible through this very difficult time. My words here will never do enough to explain the stress, disadvantages, adversity and hardship that these families face, but if you have been through anything where you have lost just about all you have, then you know what I am trying to say. Our goal is to raise $10k over the next 30 days for these two families to split and I know with your help, we can do our part in being a bit of relief for them.
