Be their angel.

Tax deductible
Young Lasso came to us as many do. Broken, and without hope. Unfortunately when a dog ends up at a shelter with a broken leg such as this it's typically an automatic death sentence. Repairing a broken bone or even giving them an amputation can be very costly, and shelters simply don't fund this area of care. But Lasso didn't have just a broken leg – she had a broken hip. Things looked bleak.

Thankfully Labs & More got the urgent call for her rescue and said Yes. When we think a dogs' life can be saved by surgery we say Yes first and figure out how to cover the costs later. We, like you believe that every dog deserves a chance, and even more so when their injury is repairable. If we could give her FHO surgery she could go on to live a normal, active happy life. So that's what we did.

As Lasso has recovered in the loving home of a foster, we are now tasked with recovering the costs for her life saving surgery. Whether you can give $5 or $500, your generosity is what it takes to continue to say yes when others sadly must say no. Because a surgery such as this is expensive and costs run into the thousands, we always count on our supporters to help us carry the weight of this important work. Soon Lasso will go on to be an integral part of a loving family – and she will have you to thank for that.

There is no one else.  You are their hope.

Each year we rescue more than 80 pregnant mothers with no where else to go.  That's more than 800 puppies that would be born onto the street and more than HALF would perish out there.

Whether you give $5 or $500 every dollar counts.  Being a 100% volunteer run, non profit organization each dollar goes directly to the saving of lives out there that need our help.  Help us say Yes every time we get the urgent call to rescue dogs in need - especially pregnant, homeless mothers who, starving, wander the streets in search of a safe place to birth their pups.

Save dogs like Rilley, Avery and Coco.

From vaccinations and basic medications to intensive, life saving surgeries, your donations provide critical support.  We simply would not be able to rescue as many dogs as we do without your help.

Dogs like young Rilley, who was found cruelly chained to a fence and abandoned on the side of a freeway amongst the trash.  Left without food or water  – and not even enough chain length to lay down to rest.

Or puppies like Avery, who as just a baby spent his nights homeless, curled up tightly to try to stay warm on a filthy old mattress.  Discovered by himself living under a dirty building, with no mom in sight, we don't know how long this little guy had to scavenge for food and water.

Lives like little Coco.  Discovered with her mom who was emaciated and covered with mange.  By the time we were able to rescue mama & her pups, all but 2 of her babies had already perished.  Coco would surely have been next without your help.

Sadly there are just too many stories like these to share.  We've given them urgent medical attention and provided critical surgeries, necessary for their survival.  They have recovered from their wounds – now we need your help to recover the costs.

Be their angel.

Now is the time to save the life of a dog or puppy that could become someone's friend for life.  Don't let the cost of rescue be what stands between life and death for these dogs.  You can save a life by simply making a donation.  We want to end the problem of dog homelessness and suffering – but need your support to do so.

We need your help! Labs & More Rescue is able to take in dogs like these because of the generosity of our supporters who donate to help us offset these astronomical medical bills. Being a 100% volunteer run non profit organization every dollar donated goes directly to the dogs.  We have kind and loving foster families who volunteer to take in these wounded souls, but what we don’t have are the consistently needed funds to cover these very expensive procedures and all the necessary aftercare. If you agree with providing compassionate options and care for those who cannot do for themselves, please donate as you are able.  Each donation helps make a difference, and as a 501(c)3 your donations can be considered tax deductible. Thank you for donating and for sharing this story so that others may do the same. From all of us here at Labs & More Rescue, we thank you.
