Hackathon for Female HS Students
Donation protected
XXHacks is a 12-hour hackathon for female high school students, who will work collaboratively to design a website or mobile application that addresses a real world challenge. Girls will be encouraged to create technology solutions to ways we can advance our educational, social, and civil rights.
We believe that every female should have the opportunity to excel in computer science and strengthen her technical abilities. We hope to "chicktify" technology and provide a safe and inviting space for attendees to experiment with technology at any skill level.
The XXHacks team invites high school girls in the Bay Area to come learn new skills, inspire one another, and build long-lasting connections. We will be hosting 100 girls, in Mountain View, California on February 18th, 2017. We are partnered with Girls Teaching Girls To Code, an organization founded by Stanford women to teach and inspire Bay Area high school girls to explore Computer Science and Engineering.
To enable an awesome experience for our hackers during the event, we are reaching out to sponsors for funds that will help cover expenses such as food, prizes, and other resources that will be needed. In return, you would get your brand advertised on our website/etc., be able to connect with our brilliant attendees, and access more benefits.
