My Mom's Breast Cancer
Donation protected
My mom, Jeanette Uptain had a stroke last December and moved up to Oregon from Southern California last April. She was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She has already had two surgeries to remove the tumor and reamining cancer but she will need to go under again to have a full mastectomy as they can't seem to get the remaining cancer left. The cancer she has is very aggressive. The doctors here in Oregon want to treat her with strong traditional chemotherapy with high toxicity. This is concerning because of the effects it wll have on her brain. She finally recovered from the stroke and it would be a shame to go backwards regarding her mental state, let alone the effects of the chemo on her body. We are going to see one of the best oncologists in America at UCLA on December 28th. This money will be used for her to travel back and forth from Oregon to California or for a move back to California so that she can receive the best medical care possible. Any donations will be a huge help, even if it's only a dollar. Prayers are also needed and appreciated. Thank you so much.
