D.D. Wookie's Cancer Treatment Fund

D.D. Wookie is a 40-year-old with a passion for heavy metal music, and classic and horror movies, with a special love for Boris Karloff, George A. Romero, and Lon Chaney. His many tattoos include both the mascot of his favorite band, and a puppy. He is a multi-talented and creative individual who writes excellent horror, and has vocalized and played bass in several thrash and heavy metal bands. Despite the darkness of his interests, he is a gentle man who is always helping others, performing in benefit concerts and even allowing others to live rent-free at his home.
In May of this year, D.D. was diagnosed with colon cancer, which has spread to his liver. He is currently undergoing months of chemotherapy, and will need followup surgery or radiation treatment. Due to the side-effects of the treatment, he is only able to work about one-fourth of his normal hours, and surgery may make even those hours impossible. As he works paycheck to paycheck like so many Americans, his medical bills are already mounting.
