Surgery for Dahlia
Donation protected
As many of you know by now, Dahlia is in need of a risky surgery to remove a large mass on her ribcage. Her regular vet doesn't feel comfortable performing this surgery as it is attached to muscle and her chest cavity. We have had a phone consult with 2 specialists who dropped an estimate of $2500 to $3000 for the surgery alone. If this mass is not removed, it will greatly decrease her quality of life as well as her life expectancy.
I have had this sweet girl since she was 6 weeks old, for over 8 years now. She had been with me through all of the most difficult times of my life. Divorce, a high risk pregnancy, loss of family members and loved ones, depression, physical ailments, and so much more. My son Ezra is extremely attached to his little guardian and I want to give her a chance at her normal life expectancy.
I am also more than willing to work for any donations! I am very handy at home improvement, have professional cleaning experience as well as many years of child care and teaching under my belt. I also am an excellent dog walker/trainer!
Even if you can't give, please give a share so that we can get Dahlia this surgery as soon as possible. She is already showing signs of pain and discomfort.
Thank you for reading. ❤
