Smith Family Medical Expenses

What started out as a day of fun with friends for sweet 6-year-old Heidi turned into any parent’s worst nightmare. Heidi fell off a trampoline breaking her arm severely in a bad location that turned into an emergency situation. Because of her age, the severity of the break to her arm, and the location of her break, Heidi had to be life flighted to Denver for her operation as it required a pediatric specialist that was unavailable at our local hospital due to the high complication risk factors that could result in Heidi losing her arm. Unfortunately, the Smith family is a recent transplant from Canada to the United States and haven't been able to obtain medical insurance as of yet, so all expenses are out of pocket for them. The family is looking at tens of thousands of dollars in medical expenses. Any support and generosity we can give this family of five would be greatly appreciated.
