My story. Many of you know but not everyone that in early April I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. Uterine un-operable tumors and it spread through the lymph nodes into my lungs. I sat in the hospital and thought why the hell am I here in this situation and it came down to childhood trauma. When I was 8 years old I was really sick with a blood deformity I was in the hospital for 6 months. I did spinal tap, received the sacraments for the dead twice, went through chemo lost my hair, went into surgery had a plasma freeze, where they pump out your blood spin it and put it back in and had my spleen removed. All the kids around me died. So, I became afraid, angry and took on a lot of death energy. How does an 8-year-old old process all that stuff? And I stuffed that trauma in deep. It made me terrified of medicine, hospitals and doctors. So, over the last three years, I didn’t get the checkups that I needed, and I ignored the signs. I just said to myself it was just menopause. Actually, it was CANCER… what a big word the first thing it does is create fear. I decided not to take on anyone else’s fears. I am writing my story. So you can take it too away. I choose to take it as a blessing. A chance to reset my life, It is only an experience I have to go through. Not a fun one but one of the possibilities in life. So I let Spirit (God) guide my way.  Knowing I am surrounded by love. I happened to have bought health insurance one day before I found out. But the insurance was for healthy people and does not cover very much (it only covers 65% of any coverage/procedure) . It does not cover anything outpatient and everything now is out patient. They would like to do a PET scan. But the out of pocket cost is $6000 for that one test. Since I am self employed one of my greatest fears how am I going to take care of my family since I am the sole supporter of a both a child and a medical dependent spouse (who has college degrees but can’t find work). I am still working but work has slowed down so I am asking for your help to cover medical expenses and to help with house bills until I can get past all this. Raising your hand and asking for help is one of the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life. I have made it through 25 radiation treatments and 6 rounds of chemo. I will be starting another 6 rounds of chemo soon.

Thanks for your time and any assistance you can provide (we are asking for $6,000 or more to cover expenses and house bills ),
