I am deeply stressed. My landlords have taken off and have disconnected all lines of contact—one week before Christmas! They have failed to fix any issues in our home for quite some time. And just today, our house was condemned by the HarrisbUrg Codes Office! It is no longer a viable home. I am a single mom of 6 and I have done my part as a tenant. I have paid my rent and have the receipts to prove this claim.
These absentee landlords have no heart—A REAL FAMILY LIVES INISDE THIS HOME!
Right now, we have no place to live. There are six children in our household with severe leaking, no heat, horrible roofing problems, and a host of other issues!
We need funding to secure a temporary place to live for the foreseeable future, and also to navigate the court system as we try to recover funds paid to our landlord, who has done nothing to fix the the severe issues of the property! We appreciate community members who have offered to patch up the home. However—the house is too far gone! Tens of thousands of dollars of repairs have gone undone for long time!
Please help us secure a place to stay, and to navigate the court systems during this difficult time!

When we needed supplies and crafts at the beginning of the pandemic for families with school aged children, Ebony volunteered her time and services for two weeks!
