Medical Bills, Hospice Care, Future Arrangements

Hi, my name is Sharon. My coworkers and I are fundraising for our friend and coworker Sherry Hester. She is hands down, one of the most considerate, genuine, sweetest, and hardest-working ladies you will ever meet. Sherry has worked tirelessly, seven days a week between her full-time evening job as well as a second job on weekends for several years now. This is on top of being the sole provider and caregiver for her loving husband Danny who has suffered bouts of illness over the years. Not once, has Sherry complained about the workload she takes on in her daily life. Despite all of her struggles and hardship, she remains cheerful, caring and giving, showing love and compassion for everyone she encounters.

Sherry and Danny have been in a loving marriage for over 45 years, with many ups and downs along the way. Sherry and Danny have been there for each other, without fail through sickness and health. On the evening of Friday, February 17, 2023, Sherry's world came crashing down. Danny suffered an aneurysm in their home and was immediately hospitalized. His prognosis is not at all promising, with doctors confirming he will never recover. Danny has been moved into hospice care living out his remaining time in comfort with his loving wife at his side. Our hearts go out to Sherry in this most difficult time.

The costs for an ambulance trip, hospital and hospice care are quickly mounting. Future arrangements will need to be made for Danny as well. All said this is going to be a debilitating financial burden on this wonderful lady who has been working so hard all on her own to make ends meet before this recent tragedy in her life. Any help would be greatly appreciated to help Sherry to cover all of the costs that will be incurred.

As an update, Danny passed away peacefully on Monday evening, with Sherry at his side. Our deepest condolences to Sherry and their family in their time of need.
