Hello there!
As some of you may know, Luis and Myranda Morales moved to Zambia in 2007 with their 3 children, to serve as missionaries.
Their mission was to serve the street children of Lusaka. In their 11 years there, they have led several outreaches, provided many meals to hundreds of kids, and given out countless hugs and love to these children. They've also arranged to get coats to the kids during their cold winters where the children live outside.
To fund these efforts they began Streetwise Craft Co. A craft store which they opened to help offset costs of running a weekly outreach with meals. They made art, sold it in fairs on the weekends, organized art classes in their shop, and handled all of the business aspects of the company. With the profits, the Morales' employed a local Zambian, Timothy, who helped with the outreaches as well.
Recently, through prayer and God's leading, and with the advice of trusted leadership, they feel led home here in the states. With this, they do need some financial help from us to get back home.
They are a family of 5 and each ticket is $800. I set the goal for $5,000 because there is a small fee for this website as well as to transfer the money to them.
They have worked tirelessly these last 11 years and I feel this is our time to step up and help such an incredible, selfless family! While they are busy tying up loose ends and getting things in order, I ask for your help in donating.
Their desire is to be home in early December. They will spend some time resting and recouping with family before expanding Streetwise Craft Co. here in the states. The goal is that they will still help fund the outreaches back in Lusaka, where Timothy will be leading the outreaches.
