Tams cancer battle

Hi,

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kirsten. I'm creating this page and putting out a request to ask for help for my beautiful friend Tamara.

Gofundme asked I write a few words about Tam; I am struggling because there aren't just a few words that describe her. Tam is Wonderful, selfless, brave, strong, beautiful, funny... I could go on forever.

Tam is one of the most AMAZING people and is going through the roughest time of her life right now.

Tam is a devoted mother of 5 beautiful children, Jemma, Anika, Koby, Mally and Eden

Tam was diagnosed with cancer only days before Christmas and is currently receiving treatment with chemo and radiation every day. Tams husband Michael has been an amazing support to her.

With Michael needed at home more often, he cannot work every day, and bringing in a steady income has been a burden they shouldn't have to carry right now.

With all the extra medications, travel, parking and all the things it takes to get Tam to Brisbane and back every day has become a lot to handle for not only her but also her beautiful family.

The physical and emotional strain that this disease has taken is already evident, and I'm hoping the financial strain can be lifted with a bit of help from everyone.

So I'm asking people to dig deep; anything would help. They have the next few months of treatment then testing after that. It will be a long time before they can go back to normality. Having the bills covered for that time might ease their burden and give tam one less thing to worry about and keep her focused on battling this bull shit disease. I know Tam isn't one for asking for help when she truly needs it. I know many people have asked her how they can help her. I know this is one way that would help her and her family immensely.
