Help Gus with surgery

Hi my name is Sally Rumble and I'm fundraising to cover upcoming vet bills for my cat, Gus (Augustus.) Gus started dry retching on Friday night and hasn't stopped. He can't hold down food, and will require surgery to remove the obstruction in his small intestine. We still don't know what caused the obstruction or whether it is mechanical or viral. Funds raised will go towards an abdominal ultrasound, x-rays, and surgery on Monday or Tuesday, as well as aftercare.

A rescue from the streets of Marcy Housing in Brooklyn [see his story ,] Gus survived an entire year outside before he was rescued in April by some fierce and tireless women trappers who have taken on the kitten explosion and surge of discarded cats throughout the pandemic.

Gus is a pit bull in a tom cat's body. A love ball and gentle giant whose vet recently remarked, "oh you got neutered laaaaaaaate," as evidenced by his puffy prominent jowls and Mr Universe build. Not unlike the most notorious mafia bosses, he communicates more with less. In truth, he is my heart, my little panther, and well, a much needed comfort during these challenging times. We've come a long way in a short amount of time together and sometimes I wonder if he was sent to me by my late friend, mentor, and real life Black Panther, Herman Wallace .
