A NEEDED HOLIDAY BOOST FOR CURTIS
My husband, Curtis John Mimna 76, had trouble swallowing and after a series of procedures and tests was diagnosed with Stage 4 Aggressive Esophageal Cancer that has spread to his rib/spine and hip. In July, 2019, his Doctors immediately began the first round of Radiation/Chemo Treatments.
Curtis Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1965 lived in DC then moved to Ft. Laud in 1988. He worked with Government Guaranteed Loan Financing until 2008 when the Real Estate Financial Crisis destroyed our company. Like millions of Americans we lost our business, savings and had to move to a small one bedroom apt in Lauderdale By The Sea, Fl. Now retired and living only on Social Security, Curtis is no longer able to earn the extra cash needed to cover our monthly living expenses as the Cancer treatments have sapped his strength, left him with weight loss, pain, nausea, sleep deprived, malnourished, Dysphagia and anemia.
Curtis begins his second round of Chemo/Radiation treatments Monday, Nov. 18, 2019. The situation is dire! Accrued Hospital/medical bills/Special BOOSTVHC Protein drinks 4 a day, Co- payments, medicines and required supplements etc. have left us owing $16,400 to date.
Curtis is a fighter and is encouraged by his Holy Cross Cancer Treatment Doctors who are fighting to prolong and provide additional quality years of life.
With your generosity and prayers all things are possible.
God Bless,
By Priscilla H Barker 83, wife and partner in Curtis’s fight to live.
